2-At this time, the American College of Ethical Physicians is granting immediate lifetime Diplomate Certification as a Diplomate of the American College of Ethical Physicians to Diplomates of the American Board of Hospital Physicians. There are no other fees of any kind, and no Recertification fees ever.
3-Prestige from being a member of an extremely exclusive organization of very superior physicians. A majority of our Diplomates hold three to five Diplomate Certifications. There may be no other organization in the world that can list so very high a percentage of so extremely highly qualified physicians. Many members have an outstanding history of humanitarian service.
4-Diplomate Certification by American Board of Hospital Physicians signifies a strong background in Hospital Medicine and a pledge and promise to emphasize and to promote humanity, kindness, ethics, morality, religious values, and family values, in all aspects of Medicine, and particularly in Hospital Medicine, where the need for such values is of unsurpassed importance.

other medical boards and organizations.

given, always available, upon request, and there is no fee for Diplomates of our

faculty.
12-In an unpredictable, ever-changing medical environment, in an era of separation into "office-based physicians" and "hospital physicians", to be a Board-Certified Hospital Physician may significantly help to retain the right to have hospital privileges. Even now, in some nations, non-hospital physicians cannot take care of their own patients or family members who are hospitalized.
13-The public, fellow professionals, as well as the legal system, generally holds the Diplomate, as well as the Fellow, in far higher respect than any physician lacking Diplomate Certification.
14-Increased income. Diplomates generally
earn more than less-credentialed Doctors of Medicine. Diplomates are generally
more successful, more respected, more knowledgeable, more up-to-date on the
medical literature, attract more patients, earn more, are paid more, and those
physicians who possess multiple Diplomate Certifications do typically earn more
than less-certified physicians.
15-Physicians with multiple Diplomate Certifications are generally viewed more
favorably for medical school faculty appointment.
16-There is a certain inward feeling of satisfaction, quite apart from the
prestige, financial, and professional recognition aspects, in having attained an
extremely high level of professional achievement and success.

immediately: Diplomate of the American Board of Hospital Physicians, Diplomate

18-Membership and Diplomate Certification by the American Board of Hospital
Physicians is only granted to physicians who have been pre-selected on the basis
of excellence in medicine and receive the Letter of Invitation. Only invited
physicians are accepted and these physicians receive specially expedited
application forms.
19-Physicians invited to Membership are pre-selected and virtually assured of attaining Membership and Diplomate Certification. If an application is not accepted for Board Certification, the application and membership fee will be refunded in full.
20-The test questions for obtaining Board Certification are incorporated into the application. Since the usual applicant has already attained Diplomate Certification from scientific examinations given by other Medical Boards, our questions pertain mainly to ethical, humanitarian, and integrity issues that are quite often ignored by other Boards. Our Membership and our Diplomate Certification stand for medical scientific excellence and excellence as an ethical and humanitarian healer.
21-Other than the application and lifetime
membership fee, there are no other fees of any kind, and no recertification
fees.
22-Membership fees for professional organizations, professional certification
applications, are generally considered tax deductible.

Geriatrics.
24-Several medical schools, including one in England, another in the Caribbean,
offered honorary Professorship appointment and expense-paid trips to Diplomates
of the American Board of Hospital Physicians, in return for our Diplomates
giving lectures to medical students, and participation in continuing medical
education programs. The offering of Professor by these medical schools is
another example of the prestige and impressive status of those physicians who
have been selected by our Board as Diplomate.
